Molecules Are My Muse (MAMM™)

Molecules Are My Muse (MAMM™) is an editorial concept where perfume materials and aroma molecules serve as the creative inspiration for fashion, imagery, art, and design.

The project draws its core inspiration from traditional Japanese magazines known as Furoku (付録) or loot magazines, which are famous for including curated, physical bonus gifts inside every issue. Mimicking this tangible, collectible experience, MAMM includes six unique material inserts that bridge the gap between olfactive raw materials and physical artistry.

 

Printed in a compact 5.5 × 8.5 in format, VOL I presents six rare materials interpreted through fashion imagery, texture, silhouette, and experimental composition. Each issue includes curated 2 mL scent inserts featuring selected perfumery materials and abstract olfactory compositions.
